The event not only delighted our palates but also quenched our thirst for knowledge, thanks to Blagoy Kuzmanski’s captivating stories. He transported us to the vineyards of Alsace, sharing both the obvious and hidden secrets of the region, along with his personal encounters with each of the six producers and their incomparable wines.
Cellar 52, known for its exceptional selection and dedication to quality, brought a diverse range of Alsace wines, showcasing the region’s unique terroir and winemaking excellence. A lifetime wouldn’t be enough to savor the wines of Alsace, one of France’s hidden treasures. When we think of our favorite French wines, Alsace immediately comes to mind.
During the tasting, we explored the nuanced flavors and sophisticated profiles from six esteemed producers: Domaine Weinbach, Domaine Roland Schmitt, Marcel Deiss, Pierre Frick, Valentin Zusslin, and Marc Tempé. Each sip revealed the winemakers’ dedication, highlighting the unique characteristics of their vineyards.
Sommelier notes emphasized the vibrant acidity and rich minerality typical of Alsace wines, combined with aromatic complexity and delicate balance.
